Update from Sunday last: L suffered a mild concussion in the hit at 1B. Doctor said no exercise for 1 month. Still, she says she will try to play the tourney.

Seriously though, from where I was standing that looked pretty bad. Her head snapped back hard, and I'm a little surprised that it's only mild.

That sucks. she took it pretty hard, but still managed to look good afterwards! by the time the tourney rolls around it will be 3 weeks, so close enough to a month!?

Another update: She has been missing work, still has symptoms. She sees no way to be playing by next weekend. Said she'd come out and not drink with us.

That sucks. If she's been missing work though its pretty serious!
I might be out as well. I emailed FKA, but I got hit in the eye playing ball hockey the other night. I will go get looked at again this week so we'll see. I'll let you know when I know.
