Looks like there is finally some tangible evidence as to who killed Darrent Williams 17 months ago. I've been following this story as closely as possible and this Willie Clark gangster has been their prime suspect from early on. If he is indeed the guy, and it looks that way, it will be nice to see some justice for Darrent and his family.

A signed letter? How dumb could this guy be? If this is the only piece of evidence connecting him to the murder I wonder if it will be enough for a confiction? I hope it is the guy and they do get a conviction. But you still have to wonder?

Well, this has been their guy from early on. My guess is now that this is out there his 'friends' will happily talk.

Broncos cut Travis Henry. Yay!!
The article intimates that the signing of Michael Pittman last week was a sign that Henry was no longer in their plans...that's a stretch. I'd bet my paycheck that Pittman won't be the starter on opening day.

Pacman reinstated today.
I'm sure there are many 'can't make it rain' conditions associated, and Roger has probably hired a team to follow him around to make sure he is well behaved.
I'm actually a little surprised, I thought he'd get another 8 to 16 games.

Well I don't think he's fully re-instated, he can just practice with the team and play in the pre-season....as for the regular season, that's still up in the air.

I see that now, previously NFL was simply posting he was back. Well hard to picture him playing the pre season out, and if there are no behavior problems, the NFL saying thanks for coming out, see you next year.

Maybe they just want to tease him.

In a similar vein , there are now rumour Odell Thurmon failed a drug test and has been indefinitely suspended, although OT's manager says he hasn't been informed of that.

Got this off the Saints board: Today Chad Johnson told ESPN the magazine he's coming back, and could be back as early as next week. "Of course I'll be back. I may be crazy, but I'm not stupid".
...then he tells "ESPN THE MAGAZINE SHOW" that he may not be back in June. In other words, he told 2 people from the same company two different things, all within a couple hours. He's right about bein crazy anyways...

I heard Jason Taylor of the Dolphins is very close to being dealt to New Orleans. Interesting situation with Taylor and someone is gonna get a great player there. Can't blame him for wanting to move on from Miami though, squish the fish!

Parcells makes it clear that Taylor isn't going anywhere.

"Why wouldn't you want one of the very best players?" Parcells said in an interview with The Associated Press during an appearance at a Gatorade promotional event.

"Nobody's ever off the market. ... I'm not trying to be flippant, but I would say, yeah [he's off the market],'' Parcells told reporters, according to the Palm Beach Post. "For me to say that we are looking to do something, that'd be wrong."

Interesting development. I'm sure there will be speculation on which NFL player or teams would want to see this guy dead? Probably just a coincidence? Maybe he owed his suppliers some money?

Too soon to tell, of course. The initial reports were of a double homicide, now they have retracted that statement.

More evidence that Javon Walker is a selfish prima dona. What an ass. He and Al Davis deserver each other. Of course, his 'not getting the ball' had nothing to do with the fact that he wasn't the best receiver on the Broncos anymore. The Broncos must have sacrificed their season just to spite him? Get over yourself Javon!
Funny thing is, I think Javon forgot that when he faces 'that team' on opening weekend he'll also be facing 'that cornerback'. I like Champ's odds in that matchup, especially with a rookie (in experience) at QB for the Raiders.
