I can't take you or your opinions seriously since you completely jumped ship on the team you grew up with as soon as you found a shiny new one.

He grew up watching and cheering for the Flames until he was I believe in his 20s.
He got so excited about meeting Jordan Leopold and telling him that they had the same first name that he posted it on here.
Then he moved to Arizona, and now talks down about the Flames, blindly loves all things Coyotes, and spends game days in a Farmer's field across from the Coyotes' arena sipping on a 4 pack of coolers with the other 7 Coyotes fans.

I think this is his 4th or 5th username that he has had on the board. He either gets banned or changes his username because people made fun of him for drinking coolers or other weird stuff he does.
I mean his posting style is pretty easy to spot, so he usually makes a big fuss when he gets found out.

Who says I grew up watching The Flames? I wasn't a fan of The Flames until 2000 during the Flames forever campaign, which was also the same year I started following the Coyotes.
I was a Pavel Bure fan exclusively my entire childhood, I cheered for the Canucks because he played there and actually stopped watching hockey when he was traded to Florida and started watching again in 2000 when I went to a Coyotes playoff game vs Colorado in 2000..
Do I need to quote this for my signature? there are a lot of misconceptions about my fandom here.

Yes, it is awesome watching games from the press box and not being in the lineup. Keep him in the pressbox and watch his anger grow. Well done Hartley!

I really wish playing at Crosby's level was the standard for getting ice time on the Flames.

Any word on whether he's playing tonight yet? I can kinda understand the benching in favour of bigger bodies when you're playing large, physical teams like the Flames have the past couple games. But against a wheel & deal team like the Avs, you get him the frick out there.

He was
Jordan
SuperNilson
LydmanFan
Calgary Flames
Kobatuzzied
and now Bouw N Arrow.
I think that covers it.

It's actually not a flawed argument at all. It's a very sound argument and very simple, and not particularily disputable. Sven is on pace to be a 30pt player right now, while getting close to all his ice time on what appears to be the Flames best line, and playing with the Flames two best offensive players. Those are not good numbers end of story.
Where you are completely correct, is that the argument I presented lacks depth. It doesn't take into account ALL the important factors and scenarios that should be considered to evaluate Sven's play, or to justify why he should or shouldn't be scratched.
However, that is exactly what every single one of your arguments, and the arguments of others who are angry that he's scratched and are declaring that Hartley is screwing up, also lack. They are simplistic arguments, lacking full depth on the situation that simply don't encorporate the potential full picture either.
And that was the point. It's fine to not like the decision, but you are drawing some very extreme conclusions or drawing some very un-fair critique to the coach on less than adequate information and with out the completely story. And then you seem to require that those with a moderate response to this situation to be able to provide counters to your opinion that do incorporate the complete picture to validate their opinions, when you can't even provide that yourself to justify your own thoughts.
Bottom line, the only people who can provide the full picture work and play on the Flames and we simply won't get that info. And it's a little early in the season, and Sven's missed only 3 games to date, for extreme conclusions to be getting drawn in either direction on very limited info.

Well done indeed. Hopefully when Baertschi makes it back in, we will see what a Baertschi with a chip on his shoulder can do.

Or his spirit will be broken, and he'll be hesitant, and afraid to take risks for fear of upsetting his coach or GMs.

No offense, but this makes you sound like a terrible hockey fan. I had no issues with you at all, but now I really question your ability to understand the game.

Not sure how old Bouw is, but I know when I was a kid my fandom flip flopped more than Rob Ford's stories. I had an innate love for the Flyers, the Flames sucked ever since I moved here, I was actually an Edmonton fan (puke) for a while because I loved Cujo. And I was also a big Coyotes fan. Why? Because they were new and had cool/different jerseys. Give the guy a break.
Anyone that is following hockey on an online forum is probably a pretty big hockey fan.

I take offense to "I stopped watching hockey" when his favorite player was traded. I don't understand that at all from a passionate fan. That's something a casual fan does, and casual fans don't really understand the ins and outs of the game very well (due to not watching all the time).
