Great game, so much sweeter finishing the series at home!
If Anaheim could have picked their next opponent, I can't imagine it would be us. This next series has the potential to be legendary.
GFG!

My wife just have birth to our first child on Tuesday evening. Just in time for him to see game 4.
Today, unfortunately we are back at the hospital as both he and my wife need attention. I am watching him and caring for him in an incubator under UV lights and she is downstairs in emergency in what she calls the worst pain of her life, truly scared for her life. Although this is one of the worst, scariest and overwhelming nights of my life, and although I couldn't watch the game I am very thankful that at least I have plenty of CP posts to read on my phone to take my mind off things.
it's nice that something good happened today to take my mind off all the bad. I hope one day I will be able to laugh with them both all about this crazy day everytime I see the game 6 highlights show up down the road.

I beg to differ with you on this.
McGrattan was not a Calgary Flame this season but, he was a Adirondack Flame. Last year be was a great mentor for the younglings.
Ferland has Vocalized his role in Sobriety for the last year. He has been a great mentor for the youth. McGrattan has said he would like to be a addiction therapist when he retires his playing career.. I really hope they keep him after his playing career. He wants to be a addiction counseller they could place him in that capacity aswell as send him out to schools as a ambassabor on behalf of the team . That would be an excellent mentor to the community as well.

1)The tight players hug after, which is rare.
2)Jubilation on the bench, yet the coaches calm and trainers with a small smile
3)Ken King in his standard 3rd period seat, actually standing and cheering (even the EN vs the Kings he didn't stand)
4)The guy going crazy jumping all over the place in the Mono jersey behind the Flames bench...that was 3/4 of our whole section after that goal
5)There's a guy in a gray hoodie (mistake #1 - WEAR RED) about 6 rows up right behind the net...he puts his head down and goes to sit back down after the Ferland miss, and then misses Stajan's goal.
6)Fun to look at the reaction of a lot of people, with the great chance missed and slight dejection setting in, but 4 seconds later its in the net.
Just nuts.

Bar none the best game I've ever been to. What an atmosphere. The C of Red was rockin'! Thanks to everyone in there who helped make it a great night!
Also didn't see this tweet posted in here yet, but it's my favourite from the night courtesy of Sportsnet's Sid Seixeiro:

Hockey in Alberta:
Oilers: Win a lottery.
Flames: Win a playoff series because they work hard and the franchise isn't a joke.

I don't think it gets mentioned enough, but they are doing this without Gio on the ice. The Flames have serious compete level. This is awesome!
