Get off all this political correctness horse&^%$! Goodness.
Regardless of your own views on political correctness and what you posted to try and rationalize it, it's sexist to insult a man by calling him a woman. Do whatever you want, just know that some people will be offended and how you will be portrayed.

Most importantly however, it's not funny and is really just a lazy chirp, particularly in regards to the alien twins.

Making fun of their physical appearance is OK?

Here's what I'm seeing.

Hockeybuzz - Flames in 6
Globe and Mail (Mirtle) - Canucks in 6
NHL.com - 3 of 5 writers pick the Flames
ESPN.com - 7 of 12 pick the Canucks
Bleacher Report - Flames in 6

Seems slightly weighted towards the Flames.

Before heading in to the '03-04 season, the Flames hadn't seen the playoffs for 7 years. We're heading into an eerily familiar situation here with this team (6 years).

Call me crazy, but we might just pull off something for the ages.

Also, I so excite.

Don Cherry picks the Canucks only because they've been there before

Yeah I was wondering about that. The rebuild was triggered by the Iggy/Bouwmeester trades followed by Kipper retiring.

That makes this the 2nd year of the rebuild.

Officially not working round 1! Pretty happy with that so now I can actually watch the games. I might mill about the games so if anyone is interested in meeting up before or after let me know.

I thought Thursday was a long day to get through. I can't imagine what Wednesday is going to be like.

Once they try to take over the planet, we won't care if it's offensive to aliens or not.

You know what I'd call a pair of 34 year old guys who just played all 82 games of an NHL season, racked up 149 points, kill penalties, both finished top ten in points and routinely humiliate guys a decade or so younger than them along the boards?

I'd call them cagey veterans.

Hopefully Hartley takes these carrot-topped freaks of nature a little more seriously than the posters on this board. Best to avoid that adage, "Age and treachery will overcome youth and skill."

The Flames-Canucks opening game will not be a CBC simulcast in the USA. "Chris Cuthbert (play-by-play) and Bret Hedican (Inside-the-Glass analyst) will call the action from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, B.C."

I think a bit of both

Bonino seems to do it a lot, but it might be the coach whomever runs the line changes

they have had a bunch lately

also had a change on saturday that allowed Edmonton to have a 3 on 0
