The vinyls? Outside of those you can often find them at amazon.co.jp - it can be much smoother/cheaper that way.

If you like that Justin Roiland brand of humour -- Rick and Morty, Solar Opposites, etc. -- then you'll love the game. I am really enjoying it, although I will recommend if you're at all half-way decent at first-person shooters, you should probably crank the difficulty a bit.

It's apparently the most popular game on gamepass right now.

It's easy to see why, with the popularity of Rick and Morty and the lack of any actual good games out (GoW, HFW, Elden Ring completed), High on Life is actually a really fun FPS game with decent mechanics and some fun banter.
If the comedy style isn't for you, you can shut the guns up and reduce character dialog to a minimum.
But I have been really enjoying it.

finally finished Uncharted 4 yesterday. It was probably my favourite game of the series (I'd say 4 > 2 > 3 > 1), but my overall love-hate relationship with this series remains unchanged. Love the characters, love the story, love the setting, love the climbing ... but I absolutely hate blindly fighting one wave of attackers after another. So incredibly frustrating. To their credit, 4 seemed to have more chapters where stealth was an option, and I very much enjoyed those. But those areas towards the end have frustrated the hell out of me in all 4 games.
I'm still glad I played the series, but it's a massive "what if?" for me. Tone down the Michael Bay style explosions and warfare a notch and give me more of a TLOU-style stealth system, and this is probably an all-time series for me. But as it is, they are just pretty good in my book.

That's why I could never get into the series. Loved the Indiana Jones style adventure and exploration, but having the rest of the game be a mindless Rambo shooting fest is so boring. If you've never played it, try the rebooted Tomb Raider trilogy. Shares a lot of the adventuring of Uncharted but the combat is MUCH better

I actually prefer the combat from the climbing. I find Uncharted 4 was as close to a climbing simulator as I've played and it took me out of the game and made it play like a chore at times.

In my God of War Ragnarok review, I couldn’t shake the nagging sense that I was retreading the same steps I’d already walked before. It wasn’t just because the game makes you revisit the memorable places from God of War (2018) or the fact it’s largely identical in terms of gameplay structure.
No, it’s more that God of War Ragnarok and the rest of Sony’s first-party portfolio feel undeniably similar and I can’t help but feel I’ve overindulged on this extravagant main course one too many times.

This article sums up my growing issue with Sony 1st party games. They have all become far too similar as while they are usually very polished, I always feel I've done this before numerous times in their other 1st party games. It's like Sony is using a single formula and brushing it over all their big 1st party games rather than branching them out in new and different directions.

As a person that despises excess climbing in video games this is where Sony is really starting to lose me. The adding of bow and arrow gameplay was pretty subtle that I don't think I noticed but it's interesting that they have added that to all their 1st party games.

Climbing in Uncharted made sense for a game that revolves around exploring dilapidated buildings, scaling 100-foot cliff faces, and using cover and verticality as part of the core gameplay loop. But this simple act has now made its way into multiple Sony games in a big way.
Horizon Forbidden West built upon the climbing mechanics already present in Horizon Zero Dawn, but you’ll also clamber many a craggy wall in Ghost of Tsushima, a game where you play as a samurai in Feudal Japan. Was that really necessary?
Frequent climbing sections are also present in God of War Ragnarok, as they were in God of War (2018), with every handhold conveniently painted to assist you along the way. For a game that is largely a linear experience, it just seems tacked on.
I can already feel some of you getting aggrieved that climbing is such an issue for me, but there are more examples of shared mechanics, like the humble bow and arrow. Getting even angrier?

I have owned every generation of PlayStation but had not yet played the last of us. Picked it up today with the hype of the HBO show and the remake on PS5.

thanks, I haven't played the Tomb Raider games yet. I'll check them out.

interesting. It's been a while since I played the first three games, but while playing the 4th one I didn't necessarily feel that they significantly upped it. But like I said, I don't mind the climbing, my problem was something else.

enjoy the ride! I'd do unspeakable things to be able to experience those games for the first time again.

I've been reading Game of the Year stuff and I realized that almost everything I've been playing came out last year. My list is easy to make because it's so short!
1. TMNT: Shredder's Revenge
2. Freedom Planet 2
3. Lunistice
4. Jackbox Party Pack 9

mostly been catching up with stuff that was released earlier, so I only played two games that came out in 22 ... Horizon: Forbidden West and A Plague Tale: Requiem. Honestly can't say which one I liked better, both were solid sequels to outstanding first games. Horizon had the better gameplay, Requiem had the better story.

Elden Ring is my number 1 by a long shot. I played through it twice, which is not something I basically ever do with games. I’m sure I’ll do another pay through as well.

I found most AAA stuff to be a drag this year. My number one game of the year is probably Dysmantle, which released for consoles almost a year ago in January. I also had a lot of fun with Infernax and PowerWash Simulator. Elden Ring was impressive but way too difficult for me, I had trouble enjoying it and ended up dropping after 20 hours or so.

I have yet to play a single game released this year and I doubt I'll get around to it anytime soon.
