This is true and it's not close.

You're easily the biggest Flames homer on this site...and easily the most biased fan against the Oilers (I won't say biggest hater since we all hate the Oilers, but you will go the furthest to avoid giving them any type of credit).

It's actually annoying most of the time how big of a Homer you are, and I honestly believe you have to be a Flames employee at times.

So yeah this whole angle of calling you an Oilers fan is an interesting approach in this argument.

Furthermore, panthers won last night. As an anti-oilers fan that’s two good nights in a row.


What I really love about this site is that there are flames fans just as 'passionate' and irrational about the flames as I am- some even more than me lol. That's what makes this site great. We can vent about our team in a forum that isn't oilers-centric TV media, or casual fans. Not sure why we are arguing about who are closet oilers fans.
Take the L against the oilers and move on.

Then Kane clearly highsticks Duchene, and even Craig Simpson is claiming it didn't even hit him. Even sweeter that Duchene scores on the PP.

I shall state though, that I am always a fan of whoever is playing against the oilers.

I am originally a New Brunswicker that has lived rurally in B.C. for many years. For the record I do like the Canucks and though it probably appears contradictory and very unpleasant to most here that I've also expressed that I like the Flames. I have for many years.
I am generally a fan of hockey since early childhood.
I also happen to like CP forum a lot and read many conversations, hockey news and ongoing dialogue here. Pretty well on a daily basis for several years. I also enjoy reading the live commentary here, while watching Calgary games throughout the season. I've never followed any other hockey forums than CP.
Because I am also a fan of the Canucks, I rarely post here , as I don't feel like trolling. And the general hatred for most things Canucks here.

I have many good friends but not a single one that shares a love of hockey. So it's a complete solo adventure for me.
It's something I enjoy about CP ... passionate, informative of the hockey world in general, and often very opinionated. Does any NHL team/city have a forum anywhere as good as CP ?

And I love the grainy video from some amateur A/V oilers clown fan where you can't clearly see anything either way, adding into the dumpsterville narrative. Even if that didn't touch duchene (which it did), all the oilers diving this year + Kane being the penalized player = some small payback in karma from the hockey gods.

I'm still mad at the Kings for letting this happen in the first place. That team doesn't deserve a spot in the final 4.
