I have no idea. But it isnt important.
The guy has had more than enough chances over his career, what chance he's on at the moment seems irrelevant.
And thats just the ones we know about.

Weird Take.
|
How is it a weird take that it's been identified we're lacking a scoring RW and we don't go for him? Or would you rather just trade 3rds for NHL depth on defense like every year?
Sometimes it takes guys a few teams before they find their fit. Look at someone like Duclair.
Unbelievable some people expect to become a great team without taking risks.

Why are you comparing him to Duclair?

IMO if Kane can still play in the league, the grounds on which the Sharks terminated his contract are very shaky. Bunch of malarkey if you ask me

Find their fit! you can't be serious
Oilers should have traded a 3rd for Vladar like the Flames if they wanted to be better
If they do this its the last few pennies of their cap and Smith/Kosk are still the goalies

Same applies to wives too, probably.
Guy just needs to batter a few before he finds his fit.

A more important reason is scoring goals.
"good in the locker room" is an expression used to justify players who simply aren't very good at scoring goals.

Without examining the "morality "clause in the standard NHL contract, this is a pretty empty statement.
Now, I would agree that terminating a contract under a morality clause tends to be very difficult, but whether he can still play in the league is not relevant to that discussion.

No, it's an expression that means he works well with others and is liked by others.
Your point about scoring goals is valid, but I don't see why you would try to minimize the impact that certain types of people can have on a group. Have you never been exposed to bad group dynamics in a professional setting? Do you not believe that can be a factor?

It wouldn't shock me if the hawks might have some interest.
If Evander wants to reestablish value by having decent results, being on a line with Patrick might assist that goal.
And the Hawks would certainly be desperate enough.
The only reason I think it might be a problem is the fact that the Hawks might want to actually re-establish it's torn reputation, and this won't help.

Everything is a factor, just have to weight the positives vs negatives. Do you prefer an ####### that can score vs a nice guy that produces nothing. I guess it depends on how much scoring do you need.

At one job I had, I had to work with the biggest Dbag I'd ever met. We worked amazing together, like great. As soon as work was done, I wanted nothing to do with him. The fact that we worked so well together benefited both of us.
You don't have to like the people you work with as long as you get results. If Kane can help them win games, nothing else matters.

The Hawks have had enough bad publicity for a life time. They won’t go anywhere near him. I’d go almost as afar as saying that is the one team I least see him going to.

I don't think Kane ends up on a Canadian team. I can see him in Carolina as they seem to be ok giving chances to players with issues. He is going to sign a deal worth like 1M for the year to play on a US contender imo.

i had a vision about Kane showing up in Edmonton and asking to wear #99 and then throwing a fit when he is told no.
