Hats off to amazing_oilers. Honestly man, he must be the worlds biggest Oilers fan. To come to the teams biggest rivals own forum in the midst of an 11 game losing streak, an 8 year playoff drought, endless coaching changes, a horrendous drafting record, multiple dead-last or near dead last finishes in the NHL standings, multiple k.lowe promotions and old boys club hirings and publicly chastise us for shaming his team! Remarkable. Honestly man, I'm impressed. That is completely crazy.

Get your laughs in now kids because in a couple of years we'll be in a fancy new building watching a team compete for Stanley Cups, watching the 2016 NHL Allstar game, while enjoying a drink of the worlds finest while you guys will be watching your team of nobody's scrape out 8-10th place finishes (yay) in the oldest building in the league. While it may seem dark now in Edmonton it won't be long before you are pulling down the shades to try to shield yourself from the glare of the glory which will be arising from the ashes.

You do realize that Flames ownership and management are watching the facility being built in Edmonton right now, and then going to make a better one in Calgary, right? Please don't tell me this wasn't obvious to you.
Ok. I take back my previous comment a week or two ago about feeling bad about the Oilers. Generally it is laughable, as the talking heads deserve everything they are getting
- Lowe deserves every lambasting that can be served
- MacT I used to dislike less, but he is selling this rediculousness with such conviction that I have to think he believes, in which case he should burn (no pun intended) with the rest of them
- I feel bad for a couple of the players. Ference, Scrivens, a couple others (Hendricks?). However, seeing the golden CORE with sadness and confusion on their face brings a wry smile to my face.
- and I feel bad for some Oiler fans. The 10 year old kid who wants a hero. Not the banger ######bag skid version, though even my stunted-Alberta-brothers are still better than Canuck fans.
I still would prefer Alberata dominancy for hockey versus strength in California. But I will revel in their misery while it presents itself.

Really shows you how dangerous arrogance can be when the person wields power over something that others care passionately for.
Lowe for decades has done some of the most insane things all because he thinks he's better than anyone he shares air with.
MacTavish seems to be following in the same line. I mean how many people are so in denial of their own mistakes that they're willing to publically throw their own boss under the bus to avoid looking at themselves. That's spooky.
I think its telling what extreme success can do to a brain. The Oilers seem to be run by a full squad of narcissists.
