Just saw it. Thought it was terrific. Definitely worth seeing.

I think the picture was supposed to be of him. The Flames drafted him. (cue references to another draft bust )

He left the money to the chick he was nailing (the one they took in the van). She donated it to the arena because he told her stories about it, etc. Not sure why she put it in his mom's name, maybe he filled her in, or she just felt sympathy for him.

And he is the one in the Flames jersey (we drafted him).

Just watched The Town on DVD and noticed the Flames reference as well- at least it appears to be a Flames jersey he is wearing. Wonder if Affleck picked Calgary because of this:

I don't think it has anything to do with the Flames, or him being drafted etc.
Pretty sure it's a "Charlestown" jersey and they use a Flames logo because of the C.

The Town and Heat are definitely similar, but I feel that Heat was much better overall (especially the ending).
