Fantastic stuff. Best I've had since moving here in the 90s.

Yeah, had it a few times. It's not the best. It's popular in Scotland, which is pretty much all you need to know about it.

Yeah, that's where I "enjoyed" it. It helps to explain why they thought cooking organs and oatmeal in a stomach seemed like a tasty meal.

Went there for the first time last night around 6:45 PM, it was pretty much full (although there are only like 12 tables). Split one order of haddock and one order of halibut, both were quite nice. Place was empty when we left though. Be warned, no debit or credit!

I know this isn't in 'town', but l ate at this one place in Granada, Nicaragua in the summer and to this day l can still taste that sweet succulent Fish & Chips l had at this one place. To this day it's the bestest F&C l have ever had, and l will probably never ever have any that compares to it again.

Until you go to St. John's NFLD. Chess's F&C is fantastic. Add in Pineapple Crush and you have the ultimate combo.

Tried British Chippys tonight for dinner, got the haddock, chips, mushy peas and slaw.
the fish and slaw were both decent, the chips were soggy as can be with no seasoning, and the peas were quite aweful with no seasoning as well. after broiling the chips back to life and seasoning everything properly it was alright.
the slaw was the best thing I had, the fish was well cooked, just very plain

I honestly think they put something in our fish at Joeys Only but we were aiming for a dozen each! You got to take into consideration that my dad was kicked out of a restaurant on all you could eat lobster night like the old school Homer Simpson, my brother ate 4 Baconators in one sitting, and I once ate a entire burger family.
Its amazing only one of us have a bit of a gut :P Honestly it took me a year to not grimace when looking at fish and chips on a menu.

I tried Sea. in Mckenzie Towne for dinner last night and I must say it was quite tasty. Now I'm not a Fish n Chips connoisseur by any means, but I would definitely reccommend the place. The fish was very tasty and the chips were supperb.

Speaking of Sea, I walked by there yesterday afternoon and it looks like it's temporarily shut down. Anyone know what's up?

Does this sound like a man who has had ALL he could eat?
Lawyer: And what did you do after they kicked you out?
Marge: We went home.
Lawyer: Be honest...
Marge: (sobbing)....we went fishing!
