lol one of my friends joked about that too, but honestly its cause I LOVE Roman history, Greek history and of course Egyptian/Persian history.

The real life ideology I have is separate from gaming, but probably deep down inside killing gods in a game is satisfying.

I want this game but I want to sell off Dante's Inferno first and EB will only give me $25 credit.

Did anyone buy the collectors edition. I was thinking of getting it as Pandora's box looks freaking awesome.

I played the demo and loved it so I got the God of War collection. Not expecting it to be as good as the GoW3 demo I played I was wrong. This game is freaking amazing and I will play through the collection before I play 3. Hard to put the controller down

Hehe. I traded in Lego rock band which i bought from staples for $10 and a Wii Animal crossing, that i bought used from Rogers for $12.50 for GOW 3.

On the receipt it said that those 2 games only have a $35combined trade value though.

This was at best buy.

The dialogue in the cut-scenes is extremely quiet, especially when Kratos speaks in his low-level growls. Does anyone else have this problem?

It's a little bit quiet relative to the hacking and slashing sounds from the game. It's really not that bad though.

I just finished the game, one of the most intense games I've ever played. The Kronos battle is mind blowing.

Stupid gow 3 blew my rear speakers. They totally messed up with the audio thingie for this. My rear speakers were coming out louder than my fronts.

That's because you weren't playing with me and CalgaryFlame from EASHL. We're pretty good.

Anyways I finished the game on the weekend. A bloody good time. There are a ton of new weapons which I liked however I ended up forgetting sometimes what was mapped to what button...there are a lot of modifiers. Best graphics I've seen since uncharted which I didn't think would be topped so soon. The opening 30 minutes are pretty epic and the pacing holds up all game. I would have like to see more destructible environment items other than the vases or baskets.

...did anyone buy the ultimate edition or whatever? I was curious as to whether it's worth the extra money.

I really loved the first two games. Never did play Chains of Olympus though.

The ultimate edition was just the game + Pandora's box. The box looked pretty cool but I am not going to shell out $100 for it.

Considering iconography and other graphic representations of both God and Jesus are the norm in Christianity. No.

But great attempt at a joke.

so i just finished the Kronos level, and WOW. it's probably the most epic level in any video game ever made, just incredible. the price of the game is worth it for that battle sequence alone (though i got it for free by trading in the God of War Collection and NHL 10 to futureshop)

I have no money to spend on games right now, is it really that good. I liked the demo a lot.

Beat it this week. Awesome game, the scale of this game is unmatched. Ending was kinda weak, but everything up until the final 15 minutes was a pure joyride.
