So it turns out the place was a former grow up owned by someone else, was renovated and cleaned up to be resold as a normal house...and then some other dudes moved in an made it into a grow op AGAIN???
Russell McDougall, 33, admitted to eight counts of arson by negligence and one charge of production of a controlled substance on Wednesday.
A marijuana grow operation in a rented basement sparked the blaze on Dec. 5, 2009, and quickly spread to neighbouring homes on Citadel Forest Place N.W., investigators concluded.

What a scum bag. Glad he plead guilty...but unfortunately he'll probably get a favourable sentence because of it.
