Yea I know exactly who you are talking about..He was by the foodcourt across the +15 from TCT today.
On a different note, I feel kind of awkward around homeless people, they seem like they can hear change clinking in my pocket from what seems like a football field away and suddenly i'm all over their radar when I get in close. I realize that being homeless can have its roots in a bunch of different sources (mental health issues, addiction, hard luck, etc...) but I still never give them money. I work hard for it, its mine, something along those lines. Maybe I should show some more compassion, but I honestly can't do it.
I was sitting waiting for the c-train at banff trail the other day, and couldn't figure out where this horrible smell was coming from, it was like rotten garbage mixed with more rotten garbage. I looked around and an older homeless lady probably in her 70's with a shopping cart was pulling up her pants after relieving herself on side of the road along motel alley. I was shocked and nauseated. I was so disgusted I practically sprinted to the train when it arrived.
Who knows, just my two cents, but I have a tough time tossing my money towards a cause like that. I will probably get flamed for this, but it's just my opinion.

What about that guitar playing guy? The one that always plays the guitar with bounce. He sorta looks like jerry garcia from ungrateful dead.
I haven't worked downtown in a long time, so I'm curious if he's still around.
Granted, he's probably not homeless lol.

i don't think that guy has passed...or at least there's another guy that meets that description hanging around the Starbucks/Holt Renfrew at 8th Ave and 4th Street. He mostly just targets the women, by telling them they are pretty

Different guy, one legged wheel chair Indian that I'm talking about wasn't that functional. He sat in the +15s by sanoma, on 4th ave by a smoke shop.

the one homeless guy I would always see was "cap'n barbbossa"
looked exactly like the guy
except he wore this giant gray coat even in the middle of the summer and hung out around Eau Claire/Canterra/Shaw
