It can receive signals in the interior of buildings, but it depends on the situation. There are a few factors.

I have one too and I love it. The repeater signal is fantastic in Calgary so you don't even need to use the annoying antenna headphones. comes with a car kit so you can put it in your car. Fantastic little radio. I listen every day on my way to and from work. I find in buildings with any concrete without big windows (i.e. my workplace) you lose signal quickly.
It can "listen" over wifi but be warned you lose a lot of the stations and functionality (rewind, record, etc) of the stiletto. You also don't get the list of tracks playing on other stations at the same time that you can scroll through.
