If you go to Future Shop`s website and view their flyers there`s one with an Alberta wide sale. There is nothing specific at Best Buy`s website though. This is probably not the big one since BB doesn`t have anything.

Best Buy has a 2 page ad in the Herald with a similar Alberta wide sale. Also Soundsaround had a one page ad teasing their sale for Saturday Sept. 19 with an upcoming flyer I think it was to be 16 pages when it comes out. The Soundsaround ad mentioned that limited items are only available at their warehouse, wherever that is.

My wife and I went to Future Shop at Deerfoot Meadows and picked up a 37" Samsung 1080p LCD flat panel TV for 699.
I'm no expert, but it seemed like a decent deal to me. We needed to buy a TV in that size neighborhood anyway, so it seemed to make sense to pick one up that two weeks ago was 899, and in the summer was 950. The guy told me they had 11 left--that was this afternoon--and he didn't expect they'd be getting any more this weekend. We saw a few other people buying them too...

Any idea how early a person would have to line up at Soundsaround to get in on Friday? The flyer says the first 500 people are allowed in (is that per store??).
Would a certain location be better than any of the others?

If anybody goes could you let me know how much they want for the Shaw DCTs? The HDPVR says "you won't believe the price", and it also appears they are giving a non-PVR with everything else.
I could use a non-PVR HD box for my parents.

The Paradigm speaker set for $1298 is surface of the sun hot, I think. Same with that Pioneer Elite receiver for $888.

I didn't look at the non-PVR's but I did pick up an HDPVR for $377. These are not even the refurbished ones that FS sells when they go on sale.

Yeah, that is a good price for the HDPVR. They had a stack of the non-PVRs at 130th and the guy said they were going on sale Monday.
I got a decent set of headphones for $5- so at least I can now say I did good.

The Electronic industry is really slow moving. Nothing much changes in two years!
