first you have to be an american citizen (stupid american game shows) then you probably call a number and answer some skill testing questions, then probably chosen at random.
they had a canadian edition and i think thats how they did it

People gravitate towards C when guessing on multiple choice questions.
That's because teachers/professors gravitate towards making C the correct answer. If in doubt pick C, unless D is 'all of the above'. Really if you're making a multiple choice exam you should randomize your letter <-> answer allocation.
I can just imagine this haunting him throughout his life: tough lesson for a prospective lawyer to learn about trusting in the intelligence of the masses. Ten years from now, he'll be selecting a jury and thinking to himself, "I wonder if this group of people would be smart enough to know what drinks LBJ liked..." And then slouching in his chair and scowling when they rule against him.
If I was in that situation, I'd ask myself first of all what I thought the answer was, and if the audience vote was the same, I'd go for it; otherwise, I'd walk.

Speaking of Canadians being on the show, anyone see the Steve Nash appearance? If he got the question correct, Regis was going to put the jersey on. So he gets it right, and Regis throws the jersey on OVER top of of his suit jacket, and backwards no less. Hilarious!
