But the fact that you have to "figure it out" and jump through hoops is bloody ridiculous. What kind of sadistic company constantly plays games with it's customers? Oh, wait. I know the answer. Bell.

That's an interesting strategy, Ken. If I were still with BEV, I'd probably make use of it. Shaw's deal for what we need blew them out of the water, so we're with them for all three at the moment with no significant problems.

Bell is one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with...in fact they are right on par with the rest of the telecom companies Canada has to offer. The bell store is the most useless store in the freaking world.

Not to long ago the buttons on one side of my phone just randomly stopped working. I take it in and they tell me "Water damage". After explaining how my phone has never been near water I get a response of "Has it been in a humid room?". Well probably? Who keeps track of that stuff. "Yeah that voids your warrenty. Our cheapest phone is $200. You can go home, call customer service and see if they have any credit you can use."

I head home and talk to the woman on customer service. She tells me I have $100 credit. I have decided I've had enough of Bell (I've had other instances of them over-charging me and also claiming I didn't pay a couple bills when I have my bill paid off automatically every month.) so I tell her I'd like to buy out my contract. She tells me I would owe $280 but that I have to go to the store to do it so I head all the way back down to the store where the guy looks at me and says "Umm, you can't buy out your contract at the store. You have to call customer service."

Well what the hell? Quite honestly I walked straight down to the Koodo booth and they hooked me up with a new phone, a plan that was 1/2 the price with more options, and canceled my contract for me. Koodo was more helpful in dealing with Bell's issues than Bell was! Later that night I took my Bell phone and smashed is against the sidewalk...I felt better.

Horrible company and a useless store. I $*** on Bell and their customer service.
