They said that Fox has more "guy talk" than ESPN whatever that means.

Ive got XM in my car as I drive Calgary, The Hat, Leth once a week and to tell you the truth I find myself listening to Steve Czaban on FSN much more than that New York blinded Max Kellerman from ESPN. In my mind Czab rivals Rome as one of the top sports talk guys there is.

To be honest, I love the Fan but when hockey season is over, its pretty boring listening to them. I mean I'll still tune in cause they'll talk Stamps and what not but to me the way they cover the Flames is awesome and Peter Maher is unbelievable. I just wish there wasn't a a delay or I'd just mute the game and listen to them.
I love all sports though so I'll listen to ESPN radio to hear what they have to say.

Screw Fox Sports bring back ESPN I am listening to the EXACT same programming that was on Friday night. No wonder Fan switched Fox should be über cheap based on this crap. I want all night with Jason Smith back Fox blows.

So, sorry to revive an old thread, but is the Fan960 back to ESPN now? I swear I heard sportcenter tonight...
and if so, do we know why they switched back - fan revolt?

Back to ESPN, not sure why but I think lower ratings or fan revolt are the most logical reason.

Glad to know that is the case (and odd that I missed the change back).
I don't listen to much FAN960 after 6pm (other than Flames games) but ESPN definitely had better quality programming...

In general ESPN hatred:
ESPN's Boston affiliate has hired Kraft Marketing, owned by the Patriots owner, to promote ESPN.
ESPN has invited a representative of the Guiness Book or World Records to be on set as they try to set (break?) a world record for the frequency of saying "Brett Favre" on tv.

ESPN hopes to hype records for its Green Bay-Minnesota game Monday night. Literally. ESPN, says spokesman Mike Soltys, will announce that on next Monday's broadcast of its ESPN2 SportsNation (5 p.m. ET), it will try to set a record for the most mentions of Brett Favre on a TV show — with Guinness World Records now looking for the current record.
