i guess CP is like my therapist... i can come on here and complain about a bunch of stuff and then feel better about myself!!!!

i just post about what catches my eye. i honestly have been annoyed with all the people that keep talking about how drunk they want to get, and saw the thread talking about st. patty's day and vented. i post in a lot of threads, but only get remembered when i argue. the avery threads, the red wings threads, and maybe a few other ones like the one from my sig are where people seem to get the idea that i am some bitter, old, confrontational jerk. and its really not the way i am.

St. Patrick's Day makes me want to get a high powered potato cannon and pick off all the Irish for the day bucketholes. Shooting drunk obnoxious idiots with potatoes..Now that would be fun!

at least with holidays like christmas and american thanksgiving, there's still some people that know and try to continue the initial meaning of the holiday. unfortunately with st patties day, i have never met someone who knows a thing about the real st. patrick or really knows anything about the holiday except they are supposed to get drunk and wear green.
Sure, I know about St Patty. Snakes liked him. Followed him right into the ocean. And whiskey is a good antidote for snake bite, at least according to WC Fields, so ... I drink on St Patty's day to avoid poisoning from snake venom. Ya, that's it. I think I better go take some medicine now, just for prophylactic purposes of course.

Hey Reaper, if you see a dude with a shirt that says "I shaved my balls for this?" take it easy. That's me.

And I'll be WASTED.

I'm generally against religion, but any holiday where you're expected to slack off work and go drinkin' after is all right by me. Go St. Patrick!

St. Patty's day is a tough day for me. My mom was Irish and she always made an Irish dinner and we celebrated with hats and all that all our lives. She died a couple of years ago, so I think about her all day on St. Patricks day. I called her the little leprachaun, she was very tiny So here's to my Irish Mom!

Good times - for one night, the pub was not a sausage festival.

Saw 4X4 - an Italian wearing a big St Patricks Day Hat - imagine that.

Yep. Worst St. Paddy's Day ever. Sicker than death and coaching a soccer practice.

Good times. Good times.

after getting home from 6 days on the road following the Flames, I wasn't really in the mood for more beer, so I did what any sensible man would do.
I went to see Watchmen.
I was not disapointed.

I'm surprisingly coherent for drinking for 11 hours straight yesterday. I'm in Butte, Montana. Epic St. Patty's day celebration.
