I would pay money to have access to that. Just for a day. Just to see what's going on in there.
I wonder if they were thinking about giving me a suspension when I melted down in the left lane thread or the McLean Creek thread.

Yeah there is one... I thought the same thing, it would be hilarious to know what some of the threads are.

"Lanny McDonald - Are we sick of his sh** yet?" by Jiri Hrdina
"Next poster with an I Like thread is instabanned" by Sylvanfan

Yeah, be pretty cool to see what they talk about.

I bet you Jiri makes up all kinds of stuff that isn't true about Oiler fans.

I wish there was a way for private forums.

I've seen it before on forums where you have to get approved and then you can see the thread, usually for NSFW type stuff. Or just to keep out guests and noobs.

Not the whole site, just one secret forum for "senior" posters to post in. (assuming I even count maybe I just haven't gotten there yet).

Couldn't you just make some kinda of exclusive social group?

I'm a member at another board, thebeaverstate.net, where a "hidden" board is revealed after a certain number of posts.

AFAIK you can make it invite only but not make the posts hidden, just others can't post.

Actually it's the other way around, the "private" forum is like a zoo.. only the worst posters are given access, being told they're the elite, and the real elite have access to watch them.

So when you first get one does it show up as a notification, or do you need to keep checking your profile?

I have a couple of never expires. Sometime in 2006 when the stuff we had been doing on Calgarypuck for the nine years previous suddenly became an infraction. No warning--extreme insulting of other members. Yep nine years of Lanny and I going at it tooth and nail and one day it became somehow against the rules.

Wonder who became a mod in 2006?
