I was too overwhelmed by the sloped forehead, massive body, and tiny eyes to start putting the facts together. Regardless of whether the original poster was the guy in those pics, those people exists.

Sure there are people like that out there but it doesn't mean they are getting married to guys who bare a resemblance to Alfred E Neuman.
I believe the simplest explanation is usually the correct one. Since the groom appears to be in the military chances are he's not blind. Thus, the simplest explanation after that is photoshop work.
