No I think if you were there we would have won 8 or 9-0 instead of a paltry 6
How's the shoulder coming along?

I play at 8-Rinks, ASHL Weekend Div. 9 (Sting Rays) and coach a women's Div. 5 team (Penguins).
My summer team (Div. 6 - Goalaholics) won our league last year too..

My GF plays ASHL at 8-rinks as well. She's really happy with it - well organized, the stats are updated on the website after all games, and generally the reffing is really good.

I play in the Architects & Engineer's League (I'm neither, but they're good ice times so what the hell?). We're old, we have no timekeepers, refs or stats. And oddly enough, we have fun.

Some of the best hockey I've ever played is noon hour oilpatch hockey, with no refs, timekeepers or stats. Some of the guys are ex nhlers (mainly the goons) and I'd say half of the others have been drafted at some point. It's insanely fun and challenging.
It really puts into perspective just how good you have to be to play in the show.

Got Oliver Klozoff

HNA
Lumberjacks Division 8
Other than the late ice times HNA is a fairly well run league.

I hated 8 rinks. The reffing sucked so bad. Haven't played there full time in a couple of years. II've played from div6 to 16 in the weekday league. I think the Sting rays play my buddies team the mechanix or the rippers. Something like that.
I play out at Planet Ice in Coquitlam now. Found the hockey better out there. Although it is sliding down hill fast. Reffing is brutal these days. Div 3 on the weekend league.

It's really hit and miss.. and yeah I'm familiar with the Mekanix, I play pick-up with a couple guys from that team once a week too..
Just be glad you don't play on the North Shore. Games never start on time, and the Duffers league has the wierdest schedule ever. Play three nights in a row, then not for 2 and a half weeks sometimes.
