Pho Mai, 101-4 14 Street NW. Down in Kensington. The price is right and the food is quite good... and you can always go get some fried chicken and corn fritters at Chicken On The Way if you don't like it.

Related question: What is the hot sauce they use at Vietnamese restaurants? It doesn't taste exactly like Sriracha sauce to me.

LOL

The Vietnamese word "phở" is properly pronounced with a falling-rising tone, as if asking a question. Its final vowel is not a long "o," but instead rhymes, at least to Anglophone ears, with the "u" in the English word "but". So the final pronuncuation can be phonetically indicated as "fuh?" in English.

Additionally, some restaurant names are unintentional (or in some cases, intentional) forms of word play on
phở and f***, as in "Phở Kim Long", "What the Phở?" [4][5] and even "Phở King"

If you're ever in Burnaby, I recommend the Pho Bich Nga.

Yeah that place good, but much too Hoity Toity. I like my Viet like I like my women: fast and cheap! Golden Bell around that area fits both those requirements.

That's actually in Vancouver... at the intersection of Kingsway and Victoria. I also think it may even have closed down now.

Pho is ridiculous good, and used to be my absolute favourite late night snack until I discovered Gam Ja Tang (Korean Pork Bone Soup).

The best pho I've ever had besides in Vietnam was in Ottawa. The families that have the monopoly on the pho restaurants there make some delicious stuff.

Undboutably the best restaurant name I have ever seen was the "Pho Khan Hoa" in North Vancouver. The "Tin Lung" in east Vancouver was a close second.
