Tony Roma's used to have it on their dessert menu, but they stopped serving it!
They used to drizzle chocolate or rasberry sauce...

But why would I want something healthy at Stampede? I wouldn't go if I wanted something healthy. I tend to eat pretty healthy the entire year. But stampede is my excuse to go crazy.

Fan 960 plays it daily ... and I thought CTV used to at least air highlights. I was looking for coverage of the chuckwagons tonight but my programming guide on Bell says nothing about it. Sad!

Shaw TV has the rodeo on @ 6 and the chucks on at 9. If you are a subscriber, bold (used to be CBC Country Canada) has the rodeo and chucks on live each day. CBC itself will have the finals of the rodeo...and I think they are streaming the action on their website.

If anyone sees where the deep fried coke is being sold, please post the location. I was looking for it at Sneak-a-Peek, but couldn't spot it.

Does any channel other than Shaw 10 show the chuckwagons nightly?

They serve deep fried Mars bars out here at the best fish & chips place on the Island. It's a thick batter, deep fried served with 3 scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream with whipping cream, chocolate syrup and cherries. It's pretty good, really...The Mars bar is soft and creamy in the end.
But it's a sharing type of dessert unless you are making the meal out of it

It's near the Coke-stage...in the large bank of food vendors on your way to the CJAY Beer Gardens/Saddledome. Same vendor that serves deepfried cheesecake.

If it's anything like we have back home, the chocolate covered frozen bananas will be a hit with anyone. How can you go wrong with a chocolate covered banana?

FYI - Deep Fried Oreos are to die for. Share with a friend though - they are super filling. Got them from the french beignet stand across from Nashville North.

So were they battered, fried, and powdered sugar on top? Or was there also syrup? I'm trying to make up my mind between the deep fried twinkie or the oreos.

Battered, deep fried with powdered sugar on top. No syrup. I'm back on the grounds twice more before the end of Stampede - I'm tempted to try the twinkies (just for research purposes only to compare against the oreos, of course )

^I did the Oreos today from the vendor near the coke stage that also sells the Twinkie. Those Oreos come with Chocolate and icing sugar on top...in case you thought that these were healthy! I found them to be a bit much actually...delicious, but a little much.
My brother in law powered through the Twinkie and thought that it was fantastic!
I also ate a frozen chocolate banana. It was awesome! No sign of Mr. Banana Grabber though for the AD fans out there!!!

Went on Friday for the first time in about three years.
Is it just me or are the prices for food suddenly reasonable? Everything in the city's been going up price, suddenly paying $5 for two bags of mini donuts sounds like a good deal!

I actually discussed the same thing today. The food prices are basically very good there! The drinks however are a complete shaft-job. $3.00 for a bottle of water, $4.00 for a Coke.
Chid at the stand I bought the Oreos at they were 4/$3.00. It was too much for sure...but you could always share!

I found it on Saturday night, thanks! It was really weird, and I couldn't finish it all. Well, there's an itch now scratched.

In the span of 15 minutes, I consumed 1 large corn dog, one large pizza on a stick, and a beef on a bun w/ BBQ sauce and nacho cheese.
My friends avoided me for atleast a half hour.
