I remember the 17th Ave Drive In, they still had the big "17" sign in the corner where AMA is now. Probably up to 1978. Man I'm old.

Looks like longsuffering is correct; more than one drive in had the name "Corral."

I called up an old friend who used to manage Studio 82 back when it was a movie theatre. Not only was he sure of the name, but in high school he used to work at the Corral Drive In as a cook.

I remember when they closed down. I just got my licence, was planning on going to the drive in with a date. then it closed down. I was so mad. When ever I go out to salmon arm, BC during the summer there is a drive in there along the highway that goes to vernon. its pretty sweet

If you guys are really missing the drive in experience you can always do the race city thing next year. They had a drive in on a bunch of fridays last summer. Although they just show one new movie and an old one and the screen is smaller you still get the same sort of effect.
