yeah my dad's 30 years in the military probably has something to do with his ability to whoop my ass at least...

We now return you to the original topic:

"Suspects in death all under age of 15."
"...they actually had a cigarette, then resumed the beating."

Holy ****. That is so sad
It's always harder to swallow when it's a completely innocent victim

Who the hell stops for a smoke and then CONTINUES to beat a guy who is down and out????

This is ridiculous. If only old man strength prevailed here.

I think it was a lady, but the rest still applies.

I'm just waiting for the inevitable, "But they are kids! They are
too young to understand what they were doing was wrong!"

So.. people witnessed the beating.. for so long, but did nothing?

I understand personal safety, but when do you finally go outside and try and do something? whether it be try and scare them off, or bring a bat of your own and go to town on them for the sake of this lady?

I'd like to think i'd fare pretty well with a bat VS 3 girls and a 15yr old punk.

Even if i didn't fare well, i wouldn't live my whole life knowing i did nothing to stop a lady from being beaten to death.

Doesn't it come up everytime a kid does something heinous?

I'm pretty sure in the Beltline Sniper case, the 17-year old's lawyer
said something along the lines of, "He was controlled by [the adult].
He had no idea what he was getting into."

The witness was a young girl. Doesn't say how young, but could have been a little kid who didn't know what to do.
She is quoted as saying "I seen them" so, she's likely quite young. (or bad at English)

Too bad no one older was there. I agree with you about running in there and tryint to fight them off. Unfortunately the right people to help weren't around though.

Surprised they didn't perceive the little girl as a threat and beat her ass too.

"LET'S GET HER!!!!"

Back to the Winnipeg one
I guess there were other people who saw/heard the beating. It apparently happened at 2:45 in the morning and was loud enough that neighbours could hear it.
Global news showed atleast one guy who heard it and apparently did nothing.

Pretty useless neighbours

And there was apparently another similar incident a few nights earlier that may have involved the same kids.
