I forgot to watch the show the last couple of weeks, but I see that the last 4 left were the best 4 from the start.

well despite the comments in this thread, I'm still in the Dilana camp.
If she wins, I buy the album.
If Magni wins, I think about buying the album.
If Lukas or Toby wins, there is very little chance I entertain the thought of buying the album. Not saying never, but guys like them are dime a dozen in music today.

I want Magni to win I think he has the best rock out voice of all of them, he isn't the best performer but he can really sing like the pros, Lukas and Toby are freaking awesome and better performers than Magni .. but ever since he sang Dolphins Cry solo I just have a ton of respect for him.
But honestly between Toby, Lukas and Magni I really don't care who wins because all three are awesome and all three deserve it.
Dilana needs to get hit by a bus then have her grave ****ed on.

Seems fairly extreme. Why so much hate for the girl?

man i cant stand Dilana either. I have no idea why she is still kickng around, as i think she is quite talentless, and not very genuine. She and her leather face need to head back to the truck stop she came from.
magni, and possibly, toby is the only one i could see fronting this band. no matter who it is though, i dont really give this band any chance of cracking an audience that is outside of the rocker mom trying to recapture her youth crowd.

I was referring to his musical style by the kind of music put out by his two bands Cleavage and Rise Electric, not his actual voice or the crap covers Rockstar makes it's contestants sing because they can't get the rights to any actual good songs since so many artists won't allow their material to be used on reality tv.

Ha ha ha, sadly, I agree...
From the get go I wanted either Lukas or Dilana to win, but ever since Dilana had her little breakdown, it became apparent to me that she probably can not take the pressures of being a "rockstar". Fine, we all get into slumps, but she said a few bad things about a fellow contestant and then completely lost it. But what's worse, for the next two weeks all she talked about was recovering and redeeming herself - if she needs to redeem herself from that minor incident, it's obvious to me she can not handle being the front runner of this band.
Lukas is the way to go. There's nothing special about Magni or Toby - there are like every other cover band singer out there. But then again, on these reality t.v. shows, it always seems like whoever I want to win, never does...

I'm not a fan of drama queens, and she is the queen of drama queens. She has an annoying voice, sounds like a 40 year old bar slut who sat in the smokeing lounge her whole life, she is ugly with wrinkled skin (refer to previous location) and she really isn't very good at singing. She isn't terrible, but her style of singing belongs with the "not good enough to be a super star" crowd, not fronting a band with legendary rockers like Supernova has.
Everything about her annoys me and the show would be so much more enjoyable if she wasn't there. On top of that I think that Toby has a legit shot at taking Lukas down based on his past few weeks and also the ladies LOVE Toby, Lukas not so much :P However I want Magni to win, I like his style the best ... but it will be tough to beat out the other two.
Can't wait for the finale.

LOL.... Well, I agree with you about her for the most part, I don't really like her anymore, but instead of wishing death and desecration on her, I am just going to wish for her to get booted off the show.

After tonight's final performance, I'd have to say that Magni and Dilana are out for me. It's between Toby and Lukas. Although I did love Dilana's outfit.
Nice to see Paula Abdul looking for some real talent!
I suppose I should go vote now...hmmmm....

I thought Lukas rocked it too...he clearly won...but my 2nd vote goes to Magni who was close with Dilana...Toby sucked.

Lukas was the best tonight by far. But like fotze said, if he wins he'll be forced into Supernova when I think he probably could do pretty well on his own.

This show is pure rock n' roll. The winner of this show will change the world of rock n' roll forever, as the singer of legendary rock n' roll band, Supernova. Nothing says Rock n Roll like butchering great songs in front of a crowd of cougers. These people really know how to rock. Rock on. Devil Horns. Tattoos. Leather. Spiked Hair. Attitude. Real rock n' roll, nicely placed into a one hour primetime package.
I'm sorry, but I can't believe people watch this garbage.
Shameful. Rock n' roll is truly dead.
Sorry for interupting your thread. Carry on.

So just out of curiosity...if you were the Producer what would you show?
Punkstar America?
EMO may be sad but Americas got talent?
I dont think anyone takes it as seriosuly as you laid it out...but there certainly is talent..even if it comes costumed as you suggest. I also didnt see many "cougars" in the crowd.

The best "talent" is definitely in the crowd. Most of the cougars are on stage.

I agree with ernie about Magni. Other than Lucas, Dilana and Toby had Magni help them out.
And contrary to Supernova, I liked Magni's original the best by a wide margin. I would/will get an album if half of his stuff is in a similar style.
Lucas - put another spin on his original. He's showing he can change up almost anything and have it still sound good, and he is a showman.
Dilana - I liked her performance of Roxanne, but didn't like her original. I think she is destined to cover other peoples stuff.
Toby - pure popcorn. Strikes me as a lightweight. Has a lot of fun on stage. I wouldn't picture him with Supernova, but based on the few Supernova songs that have been performed so far, he just may fit (which doesn't say a lot for Supernova).

I guess I'm a bit of a music snob (prog rock/metal, king's X etc, original Sabbath and Maiden...). I'm not a fan of cookie cutter music which I think Dilana and Toby excel at. Just my opinion but of the originals I think Magni's was the most complex song and strongest performer and I think Lukas has the chance to be a little something different and unique.
That said, I'm not much of a musician but I know enough to know that if you are making living writing music and playing an instrument you are pretty darn good musician or talent...even it is cookie cutter.
