9 out of 10.
A couple of very good picks, and a prospect that similar to Brz has taken a big step this year. Olofsson is a decent player too, he can finish chances, and doesn't hurt you defensively.
The only downsides are using a retention slot for 3 years, and waiting until 2028 to pick in the 1st round.

1 Colorado will likely be worse
2 they might even trade it

I gave it a 9. Lindholm deal set a standard for what a 10 is. It's not quite as good, because there's less overall. But the package is very good value.

I want that draft pick sooner to speed up the rebuild. That’s my only gripe is that it’s still 2 years away. Otherwise I would have given a 10.

I believe Conroy did well by minimizing the retention part of Kadri's contract. He didin't want be here so he had to go. Getting a first back and a second and fourth, along with a roster player and prospect was a good haul for Conroy.
I like what he's doing so I gave it an 8

Given that it's Colorado's pick, I'd rather have it two years from now than this year. Besides, that's a player who may be ready for the NHL in about five years' time, just when the current crop of prospects have all graduated and the team needs an ELC or two to stay under the cap.

It was dramatic, the feelings of highs and lows today were unmatched; I cannot recall a trade deadline I was this emotionally invested in. The relief felt when it was done, then the satisfaction once the details were announced, had to give it a 10!

You can fight with yourself today...too happy about this deal for your nonsense
Anyone posting ridiculously low scores on this deal is obviously just going for a reaction, we all know it

Not a lot to complain about this one given the term and money left on this deal. Pretty good return.

On the big deals traded a 32 year under contract until 36 and a 35 year old under contract until 38 and got back:
1st
2nd
2nd
2nd
2nd
20 year old prospect
19 year old prospect
A couple warm bodies, one of which (Maatta) might be flipped down the road.
I'm ecstatic.
^We also gave up a 4th in there too

10 - thrilled with this!
It’s great it got done now, I really like the return overall, we get a C prospect, and perfectly happy the 1st is in ‘28 since we have so many picks already before then. As bonuses, we get to watch a happy Naz play for a cup and load up an Edmonton opponent. (hopefully 1st round lol)

We got an aggregate score of 8.71 so far. That is decent, we will see.

Satisfied? It hardly describes.
I’ve been a fan of this team since the mid 80s, and then all of that time I don’t ever recall this team having the bright outlook that it has right now. Every single iteration of this team almost threw its entire Calgary. History has been a short change and try to speed up results. This is the first time I’ve ever looked at this team and saw it not only an abundance in the prospect system, but more coming up in the next three years this is literally unheard of for this team.
Well, certainly not always up to my timeframe or expectations where this team is sitting right now is better than any spot that I have ever seen them in.
At this point, Craig Conroy is the best GM that this team has ever had. He gets it.
