It’s the best of both worlds. Cheer in the moment, panic in the big picture. Highly recommend.
Yah, I'm not sure why this is so hard to grasp for the "holier than thou" crowd here making fun of the people who want the Flames to finish bottom 5. We can still cheer at the game, but hope other teams around the Flames do well to keep their position low. So I guess by definition, guys like Regher, who are in the same mindset as us that want the Flames to finish bottom 5 is less of a fan as well?

It’s because the true fans want them to score goals and be exciting and lose the game !

The problem is #1 usually contradicts and influences #2

I'm surprised there were two instances! Had they posted the over/under at 1.5 I would have taken the under.

(and yes, I know that's why they called it a stupid stat of the day)

So Cooley gets hot and keeps the net but our franchise goalie does the same and gets benched. I can't wait for this idiot coach to be out of here.

Wolf seems to need a break after a couple of games. I imagine it’s pretty draining to stay as dialled in as he needs to be each game .

Screenshot in the tweet is cutting off the top teams. Colorado and Dallas are almost at 50 points already. They'd pretty much have to quit on the season to not get 100 points.

I didn't watch the game, but 4 goals on 29 shots last game doesn't scream being hot.

I'm old enough to remember when Huska's usual critics said he was playing Wolf too much. It's not like Wolf was stellar last game. He was OK. And he was getting abused so a night off isn't bad.

Goalies don't play every game...he wasn't "benched"

Cooley will play his 12th game, half the amount Wolf has played

So the coach is an idiot because Cooley is playing after the franchise goalie has started three straight, giving up four goals in his last start?

Huska plays Cooley instead of Wolf. "Huska has benched Wolf."

Huska plays Wolf instead of Cooley. "Huska's overplaying Wolfie."

Huska brings in an EBUG instead of either.

Gotta figure that the guys actually in the room and surrounding the players have the best temperature of who/what/how/how often. Wolf looked OK the other night, but he gave up a few that were less than stellar. There's room for judgment in that.

The whole team is benched 2/3 - 3/4 of the game.

Not to mention how badly he played the Thompson goal that was called back.

That will change once Huska is gone.

There's a massive gap between WC #1 (94.7) and WC #2 (86.7), too.
