They got to the 7th game in round 2 with a lot of help from that 3rd string at the time goalie; he got lit up in the games he lost but he stole a couple of games in those 5 wins including a 1-0 shutout to clinch the first round against the Preds. Most teams would fold like a cheap tent with their two starters going down but Silovs definitely gave them a chance. It’ll be interesting to see if he can win the starters role in Pitt.
