He'd be a great add for the Wranglers but he will still be pursuing NHL opportunities.

There's no room for pelts here or on the farm.

Wasn't good enough, only bring him back if you want to tank.

One of those perennial AHL scoring aces seems to be his ceiling. Someone may take a chance on him.

I really cheered for this guy because he seems like a good person but I’ve never really been impressed with his game. Even at the AHL level I never really saw anything I felt would translate to the NHL game.
I think, sadly, he is a top tier AHLer but that’s about it.

Still just 24. I think he might still get signed by someone. Maybe a PTO?

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

Bring Pelletier back.
Pelletier's numbers weren't even half bad in Philly, considering they were giving him bottom six linemates and typically 10ish minutes per night of ice time.
|
Not just Torts but Sutter and Huska also. Pass, too small.

Why do you care if it's one way v. two way?

IIRC, he was getting traction on the PK, and he was also loved by all his teammates. Bringing him back would help fill the hole an Andersson departure would create.
Flames have to make room first, however - I think they got too many players as is.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the Flames bring him back on a very, very basic 2-way contract. He'll have to re-earn his way back into the big club's lineup which will be hard to do with all the kids coming up.
