Episode 8 was a masterpiece. Even with the compressed timeframe season they are leaps and bounds above any of the other Star Wars media that has come out lately.

It's going to stink when we have to go back to 'this kinda sucks' star wars slop after Andor ends

I see a few people squawking online about the slow release schedule of Andor S2? I'm sorry, an epic SW movie once a week for a month is too slow? Jesus some people can never be happy.

Basically the best Star Wars product since the original trilogy and I'm not even sure there's anything even close. Thank god it was able to avoid the "death by committee" that killed The Mandalorian.

Turning the speech into essentially a heist episode was awesome. Edge of the seat stuff, even with the knowledge that she obviously makes it out.

I heard they’ve started filming Ahsoka S2, and it just made me groan and roll my eyes. I guess there’s a small chance it won’t be as bad as S1, which was basically rock bottom in terms of SW projects.

I do love the Mandalorian, so I am looking forward to the movie mostly because of Favreau’s involvement. I’m sure it’ll be decent. But at this point I don’t see how anything could surpass what they’ve done with Andor.

Woah there sir....the Book of Boba Fett says 'hello.'

But no. Ahsoka sucks. She is a poor character and she should feel bad for being so bad.

Then theres Acolyte...

At the end of episode 9, Vel is going through some weapons on a table in front of a bunch of trainees, and asks 'right, who does this belong to?'

Who was that guy?

I'm avoiding searching this online cause the internet is an asteroid belt of spoilers and toxic fanwank.

He's Melshi, a member of the ground team in the final battle in Rogue One and a fellow prisoner with Andor when they were locked up in the Imperial prison from Season 1.

Wow, I missed both connections - and I just rewatched season one a few weeks ago. I will surrender my geek cufflinks and go into the west.

I loved how Mon was shocked by Andor’s killings during her escape.

She’s the political head of the resistance, but hasn’t realized how she’s no longer a part of polite society.

Yeah, this is especially part of what I'm loving. Obviously the best character is Luthen because he goes back and forth between the filth and the fine.

Mon Mothma, for everything else? Is a Princess. She lives in the Capital, she has her own car and driver, a spacious apartment oh sure, she funnels a few bucks to the Rebellion.

Andor is the opposite. He is the man who plunges his hands into the filth.

I'm thinking in the next few episodes we're going to see events which steel Mon Mothma's resolve.

And this is, regardless of almost anything else, Princess Leia was best, strongest female character in cinema.

She was demure, she was articulate, she could negotiate politically, but she was also smart, tough and unafraid to get her hands dirty and into the fight.

Total package.

RIP Carrie.

She also got over the death of her family and entire planet really really quickly!

She put aside that unthinkable genocide in time to comfort Luke on the loss of an old dude he barely knew.

Phenomenal.

Andor was as close to perfect as Star Wars has ever come--from start to finish.

I want to believe we’ll see something this powerful again . . . but deep down, I know how rare this was.

Nice transition to the main Star Wars theme during the final credits.

I mean...if you gotta go down, there are worse ways than 'superlaser.'

Although...you know...at least do the full reactor shot rather than a single reactor blast. The dude has caused some havoc...show some malice!! Really get in there!
