Too lazy to look it up, but isn't every Pope canonized at some point post-mortem? However, to be classified as a saint, you have to have pulled off some miracle during your lifetime that only Jesus himself can do. I wonder what this pope's miracle will be?

Popes are not auto-canonized as saints, but a good percentage of them have been canonized. You're right the rules state they have to have a miracle attributed to them.
