This….Oilers know by how the other teams loaded up they are in big trouble in the playoffs. The only chance is resting these two guys and hope they can carry them.

			At this point, I don't think Flames or Canucks are realistically going to catch them, and they probably would rather plan the Kings a 4th year in a row than to play Minny, Colorado, or even St. Louis.
 So it's a pretty smart move by them to rest the wonder twins for the playoffs IMO.

Canucks are 11 points behind the Oilers.
 
Oilers could go 0-12 and I doubt the Canucks would catch them.
