Unfortunately I think it gets charged to the team that actually gets to use the pick. So flyers

Here's to them falling 6-8 points in the standings, rushing both those guys back while not 100%, pissing them off ala Sheldon Souray, re-tweaking their injuries and losing to Winnipeg in 4 games because they eeked into 8th.

This timeline owes the world something good. it could happen.

Not to be Captain poopy pants, but 2 of those 3 are against Colorado and Dallas.

Strangely, no concern from greaserville about skinner’s concussion. Who is the ebug for them?

This….Oilers know by how the other teams loaded up they are in big trouble in the playoffs. The only chance is resting these two guys and hope they can carry them.

At this point, I don't think Flames or Canucks are realistically going to catch them, and they probably would rather plan the Kings a 4th year in a row than to play Minny, Colorado, or even St. Louis.

So it's a pretty smart move by them to rest the wonder twins for the playoffs IMO.

Canucks are 11 points behind the Oilers.

Oilers could go 0-12 and I doubt the Canucks would catch them.

So is it like a symbiotic relationship? One of them gets an injury and the other one feels it?

That's what I'm thinking too. Ron will have to make sure to pack an extra pair of gitch for the excitement his boys making a triumphant return.
