Debrusk sure like to reuse that "dig in" motto. I think he must have used it a dozen time today.

Good that he’s added a third thing to his repertoire of “shot mentality” and “that should have been a penalty”.

The Oilers have given up 13 goals within the last 24 hours. E = NG

McDavid led all forward in icetime at over 20 minutes, hard to believe a coach could be so dumb to play any player that much on a back-to-back and 3 in 4 nights.

I guess it's true that McDavid calls his own number

The Rangers lead 4-3 in the third period.
Shesterkin has slightly redeemed himself as the Penguins are ours hooting the Penguins 34-15. Both teams gave up eight goals each yesterday.

Just watched the Oilers/Caps highlights, as I wanted to see Ovi's hat trick.

The Oilers got 1 goal on a freebie PP (of course) and then their other two were from dumb/lazy plays by the Caps....that game should have been 7-0.

I am completely annoyed by the flag waving BS that goes with stuff like this. The whole "Cold War" through athletics ruined any international tournament for me, in any sport. Even my wife, a very casual fan, thought that just picking the US, Canada, and only two Euro countries was just too arbitrary. Not worth interrupting the season over. And in the end, just exhibitions with no genuine stakes, except NHL self-promotion.

The game could have easily been 11-0.
