EP was cross checked on that winning STL goal, but man he went down easy.
I'll never understand how easy so many NHL'ers go down when they spend all year working out and getting stronger. Feel a crosscheck......go down. Glad they didn't call that tonight.

Id make the case that if you have your back to someone and aren't expecting it, you're going to go down pretty easy to a shot in the lower back. The push off in front of the net is something that is regularly called interference even when a guy doesn't go to the ice (just loses balance). I'd also make the case that the one big knock on Pettersson continues to be they he has Bambi legs and he needs to fix that sooner rather than later. I don't like that it wasn't called, but he needs to be engaging with Schenn there, not puck watching. Nevermind the fact that the Blues had the puck because Pettersson was handling the the thing like a grenade.
tl;dr refs probably should have called that, but they were only in that position because Pettersson ####ed up so stop puck watching, engage and battle, dweeb.

Pretty sad, but true. Hall/Bedard/Kurashev was the original hope. Beauviliier/Bedard/Kurashev was next, after Hall went down. Reichel was tried, as was Tyler Johnson, but only briefly for both. And the Defense is even less talented.
Over the last month, the 'Hawks have been picking up scraps off of waivers, and giving them PP time!

Quinn with a goal and an assist, 3-3 now heading into the third period.

Alnigi, the Sabres-Kings game didn't go to OT. A little tricky that Quinn is Jack Quinn for the Sabres. The Canucks Quinn Hughes didn't score a goal against the Blues.

Really? Seriously? The Flames are just 4 points back of the 8th place Predators who have also lost 3 of their past 5 games. The Kings are basically free falling and are in 7th place, just 6 points up on the Flames. Don't forget that the Kraken just stopped their 4 game losing streak.

I think that one was actually a pretty firm crosscheck that would cause a guy to go down.
Way more blatant and aggressive than the interference Zary was called for against Philly.

Yeah, it was bad. But Pettersson can't lay there after, expecting a call.
