While we’re at it, if we could also grab the other Aiden from the Bandits, that would be great too.

Smooth skating D with size, going to BU this year. Ranked 140 NA skaters…

Man, what could have been if the Flames just embraced the tank after Tkachuk was traded...

I don't recognize many names past the ones that were projected to go in the first round, but isn't Hrabal a really strong goalie prospect? Flames probably need another up-and-comer at this position if Wolf is poised to make the jump to the big leagues soon.

Does that mean we also get his brother?

With five picks today, expect at least two defensemen chosen.

Flames did not draft any last year.

They whiffed on their 2021 picks.

While Poirier, Kuznetsov and Solyovov are progressing well, blueline depth is an organizational need.

In before we draft a D with our 2nd over some forwards that were high on peoples' list that are still available

SN/ SN Now

Day 2 is usually a simulcast of the NHL Network feed but I'm unsure if ESPN is doing it this year

"oh my God, player X is still available! I can't believe we're getting him in the second"

Flames pick second or third pair projected defenceman.

"FFS, this franchise is doomed!"

Flames team have their list and know where they can potentially pick up value in the latter rounds. I'm looking forward to Sandman and those others who know their stuff's analysis of each pick.

Remember, these are kids who've already got a lot of pressure on their shoulders. There's no need to be insulting if they aren't who we wanted. Be pleased for them!

Hopefully if there is a faller the Flames take that name given the type of draft class.

This is when you want to be taking those Oliver Kylingtons and seeing if your development people can help work out whatever is that made them slide down the rankings.

Will the Flames take a flyer on Brooks Bandits defenceman Hughie Hooker? Just for his name!!

The Flames should use their 7th for their traditional goalie selection.

Noa Vali. Just for the name, which with letters rearranged, is "No Avail."

"The Flames pulled their starter, but it was to No Avail."

Everyone excited? I'll bet Craig Conroy is excited.

Or is there an impending sense of trepidation and dread?

I hope the Flames can nab Michael Hrabal here... then Dmen with our remaining picks because the org depth on the blueline is pretty bad.
