Imports and NHL-caliber Swiss nationals are paid considerably more than the average Swiss league player. Gregory Hoffman was apparently one of the NLA's highest paid players, earning ~$1.2M before he signed with the Blue Jackets

Without a doubt, an NHL-caliber player like Koskinen is earning at least as much as NHL league minimum to play there.

Just like the tendency here in Calgary, the Oilers love to whip on Goalies that are mediocre, but really not a root of a problem.
