Special teams wise, absolutely.
In terms of absolute braindead turnovers 5v5 that led to easy gimmies, absolutely.
In terms of how the Flames fell apart in the 3rd, absolutely.
But overall, at 5v5, the Flames played pretty good against Edmonton. Even Sutter said so himself.
Tonight, the Flames got dominated at 5v5.
Very interested to hear what Sutter has to say after this game, because a game like today is not the way he likes to play at all.

I thought Tkachuk, Hanifin, Mangiapane and Dube stood out as having pretty strong games. Bennett seemed to gain a bit of traction in the 3rd period.
Important win. Important to bounce back from that loss and get some momentum back.
Markstrom made the saves to preserve the the 4-3 lead, and on a pretty rough night for him it’s still good to see him help us hang on for the win.
