Hopefully a high scoring game with Gaudreau getting to 103 points. Neal with a hat-trick and Jankowski potting in a couple too.

Yes.

Not too hard to claim a bump or bruise precludes a player from playing tonight.

Wes Gilbertson @WesGilbertson
#Flames coach Bill Peters was asked about Johnny Gaudreau, said his usual linemates need the night off more due to minor nicks.

That is what I am thinking too. Basically guarantees that Smith will get the start in Game 1 (and against Oilers) with Rittich playing two games in a row.

Would love to win a game here based on how good the season has been. But it is meaningless so stay healthy is all I care about

Getzlaf and Kesler are injured, I think.

At this time of year, I agree but I think it’s more of a concern of young guys trying to make a name for themselves.

Getzlaf and Ritchie might be back tonight:

Both took part in normal practice yesterday.

Manson, Kase, Kesler, and Terry are all out.

I'm positive Gaudreau's time will be limited like it was vs. the Kings as soon as things go the slightest bit off the rails.

I think the Ducks will be doped out and in offseason mode tonight though.

Rhett Warrener on the Morning Show made the point on Monday that players on non-playoff teams have already booked their flights out of town for their holidays, and between players trying to get to the playoffs and players trying to stay healthy enough to get to Mexico no one wants to risk an injury at this time of year.

Derek Ryan needs one point tonight to tie his career-high of 38.

With three more points, the Flames' anointed fourth-line centre will finish the year with 40 points. Pretty good.

NHL must be pretty relaxed on teams using the emergency basis call ups.

I think Treliving pretty much said as much when he was 650 the other day when he hinted there are ways around the 4 call up max.
