I don’t use any either, just moisturize as normal once the burn cools.
If I know the sun got me during the day I grab a bucket of ice water and a full size body towel (depending on burn size, this is based on full torso).
Dunk it in, lightly ring it out. Apply while still dripping.
Flip after ~30 seconds or once warm (which will be shockingly fast).
Dunk again once towel is warm to touch, apply.
Repeat for ~1hr while watching sports highlights.
When I burn (which is easily) I burn really bad. I normally wear SPF 50 if I am going to be out in the sun for an extended period. But I find if I have time and do the method I just described, the following day is 100% better.
