I don't see any reason to take Tkachuk over Dubois.

Not that he's set the world on fire tonight, but i like what i see out of Max Jones. Big, hard worker, and a pretty good skater.

Well, I was more impressed which Mitch Marner over Dylan Strome last year, whereas Strome looks like the much better player this tear.

If it's about projecting NHL upside, I could understand why Tkachuk is rated higher than Dubois.

Well obviously the scouts, pundits, and every scouting database there is projects more NHL upside in Tkachuk-but like you in Marner's case, i am more impressed by Dubois than i am by Tkachuk. And last year, i was more impressed with Strome than Marner. But i am far from being a pro scout, lol

I walked right past Treliving and Conroy in the scouting area before the game. Button too. There were some other guys that looked familiar but I couldn't put a name to the face. I found it pretty funny that the player with the same name as me won player of the game for Team Cherry.
