Goalies also have the Jennings and Calder. I don't think it's BS at all. There are a far greater number of forwards than goalies in the NHL so it makes sense that there are more awards to win. Also, fowards play many different roles on a team where as all goalies have just one single job - to stop the puck. You will never see a 2nd or 3rd liner win the Hart, Richard, or Art Ross, but you will see them win the Selke.

In the last 50 years the Hart has been won by a goalie 3 times......and two of those were Hasek in back-to-back seasons. The other was Theodore in 2002. It's obviously pretty rare to see a goalie win it.

If I goalie is the obvious choice (like Price is this season) I'm not sure what the issue is.
