no.
if by most consistent you mean most unlikely to score on a breakaway then yes, he has been the most consistent at not scoring.

Raymond was out there a lot but he looked off 16 minutes? A couple minutes too many

Only one of maybe 3 forwards that was not being pushed around physically.

Byron hasn't been good for the past 10 games or so.
Press box time, imo.
Although, we play Buffalo on Thursday, so id be surprised if he sits.

I'd say so. Who has been more consistent? Monahan, Gaudreau, and Jooris have all been lights out since their early slow starts / scratchings.
Stajan/Jones/Raymond/Colborne hurt. Glencross inconsistent. Hudler has had some rough nights but is probably in consideration... Bouma for sure is in the mix.
I still think its Byron.

Yeah bad play for sure. The reason we've been so good when it comes to tying games late is our patience. With 35 seconds left no need to give away possession.

Earlier this season, id agree.
The past 8 games he's gone pointless and is -4.

That first goal really sums up the night for the Flames.
I'm really hoping for a couple early goals in Buffalo. As much as I love watching this team fight to stay in every game, we can't keep going into the third down 2 or more goals.

Yeah his production has certainly dropped off, but I think in terms of pure effort out there Byron typically sets the benchmark for our forwards.
I would say Byron and Bouma are both important pieces to this team as they challenge the others to match their determination.

Ugh.
Jones & Glencross were invisible tonight, and please fire Engelland into the sun. Hartley's line mix up got the team rolling in the third, great coach.

Your name is fitting all you post is Doom and gloom.
Your post remind me of this guy that sat behind me in the dome last season vs the Kings asking " wtf is Ramo doing in net he sucks . Berra should be playing. "
I had to turn around and say Berra was traded at the dead line almost a month ago.
Byron has been excellent . Very physical and lots of chances.

Yeah, but there have been other games when the team has scored two quick goals and they clearly had a lot of momentum after scoring the first goal and the Flames were on their heels (I think it may have been the Colorado game)
As for this game, last time I checked the Flames didn't use their timeout at all. If they had used it in the second period at the 15 minute mark, maybe the team could have settled down. If the Flames had 15 more minutes, maybe they could have scored another goal? No harm in trying instead of not trying at all.

I think I'm going to puke. Dominated the crap out of the Leafs for 2 periods and ran into another hot goaltender.
I know we've probably used all our puck luck for the season, but we should be due a bounce or two any day now.

You have no idea what you are talking about.
Actually reading the game time thread I'm not sure 90% of CP knows what they are talking about.

Only saw the start of the first and the end of the third so I have no real thoughts on the game. We were bound to lose 2 at some point. Very interested to see how they respond to the first piece of results based adversity this year. Will this turn into a skid? They have a very winnable game up next, hopefully the jus go out and get it done.

first off, i like Byron.
but no, he is absolutely invisible sometimes. Monahan has been our best forward. followed by hudler.
