Brodie had an off game. A lot of bad passes and bad pinches. Left JVR wide open on the second goal too. I'm sure he's very disappointed, playing so close to home and all probably had family at the game.

The Flames allowed 1 goal in the 2nd period...some of you talk like they allowed 5 goals or something

It's good for the Flames to face some adversity. First back to back regulation losses. I'm excited to see how they respond.

They've played really well the last couple of games, just couldn't finish. That score line tonight flatters the Maple leafs.

Big game on Thursday.

We have to win these games.

Overall we were the better team but we lost. We are not taking advantage of time in the offensive zone... That's not the first time this season.

They got a ####ty deflected goal and we didn't that's how this game was won. I'm not having this Bernier was awesome talk most of our shots hit him right in the chest

They were awful in the 2nd.

If the played like they did in the 1st/3rd they would of very likely won this game.

Well L.A and Van lost. SJ was just beaten by Edm not more than a few days ago. 2 down 1 to go.

They didn't score another goal so what's the concern?

Also... whenever we out Corsi a team we lose... need to go back to be unsustainable.

It was Byron. It was bad, but he's been our most consistent forward this season by far.

But Toronto didn't score another in the 2nd, so did he really need to use it then?

Man like we know Johnny is amazing but common today was just remarkable. His vision and anticipation honestly replicates an elite NHLer. I can't wait for a year or two to see where he will be!!!

This road trip is key to their season IMO. After Buffalo on Thursday things take real serious jump in difficulty in getting some W's. I think the Flames can do it, but one slip can really send things into a tail spin real quick even if they're playing well.

He hasn't been very good in the past several games, fairly invisible. That toss to the middle of the ice was such a bonehead move.
