However, Rogers Arena has not been friendly to the Flames in recent times. Almost like the Honda Center curse.

Habs score, 3-1 now for the Stars. The Red Wings have come back after the Rangers took a 2-0 after one period. Nash's goal was awesome. It is 3-2 Detroit.

He's a heck of a player. Already a top pairing guy in Florida and does it all. He's going to be one of the best overall defensemen for the next 10-15 years.

The Leafs are not good in 3/4 of the zone. In tight on the attack they're outstanding

Bernier stole that one. Don't like the Leafs but always nice to see the Nuckleheads lose.

Hopefully that's the first of many long overdue loses for the Canucks.

Yeah and it's really helping him that Florida isn't a dumpster fire this year and has solid defense. Playing with Campbell is going to be the same for him as Brodie playing with Gio.

I think thats really overlooked with young d men
not that he has the pedigree but Schultz went straight in to a dumpster fire on the back end in Edmonton, where your scrambling all the time, picked up a bunch of bad habits
put Ekblad with Campbell, or Seth Jones with Josi etc. and you teach them with a calm competent partner, good habits

HAHAHAHA!!! No.
Campbell is not someone he's learning from. The guy has horrible work ethic, is soft as butter, and his skills are rapidly declining. If anything he's learning from Willie Mitchell who has been a godsend for teaching defense to some of these guys.
If anything they've paired Campbell with Ekblad because Ekblad can cover up for Campbell's errors and soft play.

Campbell has been one of the best possession guys in the league the last few years, even on Florida

Oy vey…possession arguments again. Ask Edmonton how possession without any other skills that can win you a hockey game is working out for them.
Campbell can hold on to a puck and skate a little with it. He does nothing else very well and can be a nightmare in his own end.
Trust me, I've been watching this team all year and Ekblad is already the better of the two.

The Bruins are pounding the Coyotes 5-1 early in the third period.

when he's on the ice for 55% of all the shots on the ice at that timem playing top pairing minutes, he's doing a good job, he was doing the same with Tom Gilbert last year

I've watched their games too and he isn't a "nightmare" in his own end. Ekblad also makes plenty of mistakes defensively.
