Byron got 3 dirty punches after on the head, he could've gotten seriously injured from that.

I don't think it was from behind, Sedin turned and exposed his side before Byron hit him. Two minutes for boarding would've been fair (note: boarding - as in: "checking or pushing a defenseless opponent in such a manner that causes the opponent to hit or impact the boards violently" as per the NHL rulebook - this does not contradict my view that the hit would not from behind). Should not be a suspension.

Byron did nothing wrong. They should give Daniel an award for stupidity on the play. If you're going to be a short distance from the boards, don't turn and put yourself in a vulnerable position.

Sedin turned his back at the last second and Byron still didn't hit him in the numbers. Wouldn't have been a penalty if he wasn't hurt.
However, since a high profile player was hurt, he'll get a game or two.

No. It was a close boarding call that will usually get called on a home team star. With the injury it's an automatic 5 and a game. There was no attempt to injure and the game misconduct is enough.

Will it get a suspension? probably. Daniel can clearly see the hit coming and turns away to draw a penalty. Hockey is a contact sport and this is as much on Sedin as it is on Byron.

Well actually as of now their has not been any official word of an injury , just that he's under observation. So don't freak out over nothing. Shoulder the shoulder hit. Sedins just are not that strong. Their still built for hockey 10 years ago.

The optics of it might get him suspended but it was in no way a dirty hit.

You obviously didn't even watch the hit.
Byron pushes Sedin's left shoulder. He doesn't touch him "in the numbers".
It wasn't even an illegal hit.
Shouldn't have been a penalty and if it is a suspension it will be a black mark on the NHL disciplinary system.
