I don't know man - comparing a plan to keep restaurant goers safe from salmonella and e coli and the steps that led towards the holocaust isn't really funny nor a good example of your argument.

I like the idea of a letter grade - people can die from poor food management. As for the aesthetics of it being on a door or window - are you serious?

I'm going to get into this argument again, but yes, I'm serious. I think a big paper A/B/C on a store front is tacky as hell and I'm strongly in favour of alternate locations/sizes for such information.

Is the information important & beneficial? Yes, absolutely. I just don't think it needs to be dead centre on the store front.

But as stated before, I seem to be alone in that opinion as others feel the public interest comes before the business owner's, which while I don't agree with that statement, I do see the validity in it.

Yah dude that was really funny? Idiotic comments that trivialize serious events simply desensitize us to our own history. Comments like the one you made are stupid. Defending yourself is silly. Learn and move on.

As someone who frequents a lot of restaurants in Chinatown, I think ignorance is bliss!

What if they're like Paul Finch from American Pie and have a phobia of using these nasty public washrooms?

I got a case of salmonella a couple years ago bad enough to put me in the hospital for 8 days, and while i haven't gone back to said restaurant since I couldn't be bothered to look up the ratings of the restaurants for the simple fact my food handling habits at home are atrocious and it doesn't seem to be affecting me too much.

While I'm glad the regulations exist, some of them just remind me of busy work.

So was it confirmed the salmonella was a result of eating out?

That still doesn't mean anything, or did they trace it to a restaurant?

Lounge Burger made me violently sick once. I've heard nothing but good things about it but that incident wrote me off it forever.
